Bioversity blazes training pathways and creates employer connections for underrepresented populations and individuals traditionally left out of the life sciences to quickly propel them into well-paying jobs and lifelong careers. We aspire to an equitable life sciences industry that reflects the patient communities it serves and delivers career opportunities to all who want them.

About Us

Bioversity is a Massachusetts-incorporated non-profit (Tax ID: 93-2178166), with tax exempt 501c3 status, launched by MassBio to create and implement industry-aligned workforce training initiatives. Bioversity operates training centers, runs programming, and creates partnerships to provide Massachusetts residents the skills and hands-on experience necessary to enter and thrive in life sciences careers.

Workforce Training Centers

Bioversity runs two separate workforce training centers – one in Boston and one in Lowell. Each of these facilities offers a dedicated lab and classroom training space where Bioversity runs its training programming.

Bioversity Certificate Programs

Bioversity runs a range of short-term certificate training programs. Our core program, Biotech Career Foundations, is an 8-week program that prepares people for early career jobs in a range of lab operations roles.
