Join MassBio and Bioversity for the third annual Golf Classic — a day of exceptional golf, life sciences networking, and direct support for Bioversity’s free biotech workforce training in Massachusetts. This year’s event again takes place at George Wright Golf Course in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Boston, one of the top-ranked municipal courses in the country.

Sponsorships and foursomes are available now. Spots fill quickly — this event has sold out in prior years. Foursomes and sponsorships can be paid via credit card through the registration site. Invoices are available to sponsoring companies, upon request.

Bioversity is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Sponsorships are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.

Why Sponsor or Play?

Every dollar raised funds Bioversity’s Biotech Career Foundations program — a free, eight-week life sciences job training program for un- and underemployed adults in Boston and Lowell, Massachusetts. Since launching in 2023, Bioversity has graduated 147 students and placed more than 80% of them into life sciences roles at companies across Massachusetts, with average starting wages of $27 per hour. In less than three years, Bioversity has become the biggest and most impactful biotech training program in Massachusetts, recognized as a “Pathmaker” by the Massachusetts Life Sciences Center.

About the Course

George Wright Golf Course is a Donald Ross-designed municipal course in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Boston, widely regarded as one of the finest public golf courses in the United States. It ranks among the top three municipal courses in the country and has served as a host site for the 2023 U.S. Mid-Amateur and U.S. Women’s Mid-Amateur regional qualifiers. The event will be held rain or shine.
