Every eight weeks, a group of adults who never imagined a career in the life sciences walk into a Bioversity classroom and start on a new path. They come from underrepresented communities and low-income households, without college degrees or biotech experience. Eight weeks later, more than 80% of them have a job offer. In our first two years, 120 people have made this journey — and we’re on the verge of placing our 100th person into a biotech career.

This year, we’re celebrating that.

Join us for Celebrate Bioversity on Tuesday, June 16th from 5:30–8:00 pm at Southline Boston in Dorchester for something we’ve never done before: a graduation ceremony honoring the first three cohorts to complete our Boston program. Students will cross the stage surrounded by their families and a community that believes in what they’ve built. People who have attended our past graduation events tell us it’s one of the most moving things they’ve been to.
